 Low alititude and Medium Altitude Photography
Gulf Coast Air Photo provides high resolution photographs from various angles at low altitudes, typically 500 to 1,000 feet of altitude. These are typically used to show details not possible from higher altitudes such as construction progress, real estate marketing and property features.
Medium altitude photographs are typically taken from 1,000 to 5,000 feet from various angles; North, South, East, West and vertically. They are commonly referred to as "Marketing Photos" and show area locations such as neighborhoods and proximity to streets, highways and other complimentary features. These are often used to promote land development and commercial real estate. For best results they require a clear day that is free of haze.
If you are more of an outdoors lover, aerial photography can help you plan out your next fishing, hunting, or hiking trip. Maps are nice, but they do not compare to seeing the actual terrain and/or shoreline. Get a bird's eye view of anywhere you would like to go, saving you the trouble of guessing where the next clearing is, or finding that canal that the map makers missed. You will feel as if you know the land like the back of your hand.
